    It is often misunderstood that lower back pain, especially at the buttocks area, is called sciatica. In truth, pain is just one of the symptoms that comprise the term. It is actually as set of symptoms, but pain is mostly the problem for people suffering from this condition because it is apparent and undeniably discomforting that it hinders one from doing normal activities without pain such as lifting heavy objects. The pain can also be severe during the cold season. This pain and the other symptoms that comes with this condition is caused by the compression of lumbar or sacral nerves, or by compression of sciatic nerves. There are different means to solve this, and one of them is doing an exercise for sciatica and the pain it gives. Though this,pain would be relieved and discomfort would be lessened.

Focus on strengthening, relaxing, and stretching some of your muscles. You can do exercises to strengthen your abdominal areas. Relaxing your hip flexors also helps because it decreases the pressure on your nerves. Stretching some of your muscles in the gluteal region of the lower limbs greatly helps as well. It is always best to ask or get advice from professionals who have broad range of knowledge regarding this condition before you take on exercises of your own for your own betterment.
